Dynamic Duo, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Bonaventure. St. Thomas was a Dominican and Doctor of the Church. He is best known for his great works in theology, including the great Summa Theologica. St. Bonaventure was a Franciscan and Doctor of the Church, and later Bishop of Albano. He was also the leader of the Franciscans and devoted his life to the Order. Aquinas and Bonaventure were friends and advised one another with their great works. They helped prepare for the Ecumenical Council of Lyon, unfortunately they both passed away during it. These saints served the Church with diligence, passion, and great love.
